FP · SLA — Replacement guarantee

7 business days. No extra cost.

Most staffing platforms hand-wave on replacements. We don’t. This page is the full sub-clauses — when the clock starts, how many candidate intros you get, what triggers a refund. If your procurement team has questions, this is the answer page.

✦ The full clauses05 ITEMS
  • When the clock starts

The 7-business-day clock begins the moment you submit a replacement request — not when the current engineer ends. Replacements run in parallel with handover so there's no gap in shipping.

  • Up to 3 candidate introductions

Per replacement cycle, we send up to 3 vetted candidates from the active bench. Each comes with a stack-match note, prior receipts, and availability date. You pick — or pass on all 3 and get a refund (see below).

  • Replacement guaranteed in 7 business days

If you accept a candidate, the replacement engineer is onboarded within 7 business days of acceptance. If we miss the deadline (rare — historically <2% of cycles), the next month is pro-rated.

  • Refund trigger

If none of the 3 candidates fit your stack or culture within 14 calendar days of the request, you can exit with a pro-rata refund of unused engagement time — no fees, no clawback, no notice period.

  • What's not covered

The SLA covers our placement quality, not your scope changes. If your stack pivots mid-engagement (e.g., you decide to migrate from Postgres to DynamoDB), the original engineer's fit doesn't trigger a free replacement — though we'll always work with you to source the right match.

✦ How it plays out

Three real-world scenarios.

Scenario · Stack mismatch

Day 12 of engagement: turns out the engineer’s LangChain depth doesn’t cover your custom orchestration layer. You request replacement on day 13. We send 3 candidates by day 17. You pick one by day 19. Replacement onboards day 24. Original engineer hands off in parallel days 17–24 — zero shipping gap.

Scenario · Cultural fit

Week 3: communication style isn’t clicking with your team lead. You request replacement. We send 3 candidates by day 4. None match — your team needs a very specific async-comm style. You exit on day 14, pro-rata refund issued for the unused 16 days of the month.

Scenario · Engineer health / personal

Month 4: engineer needs to step away due to family circumstances. We initiate replacement same-day, pre-emptively. Three candidates intro’d within 48 hours, replacement embedded in 7 business days. Original engineer’s remaining month is pro-rated.

Operationally: replacement requests go to gabe@futureproofing.dev. Gabe responds within 24 hours, Andrea coordinates the bench match, Jess does the final technical fit review. See the enterprise procurement page for MSA + SOW context.
